I'm an irrigation farmer and I use several machines called irrigation pivots to water my land. These machines consist of several sections called spans that range in length from 100 t...but the problem has never been resolved. Basically the only solution is to monitor these machines and adjust them periodically. We actually have to shut down these machines during high winds and local storm conditions as well. I'm trying to figure out a way to align one or more center towers with the pivot point and last tower using laser, radar, radio waves etc. There must be a way to use triangulation or something to keep these units in alignment. Hi, I need a small QT project that performs Delaunay triangulation from a 3D point cloud. The project should be created with QT 5.15 and should be able to be built on Linux as well as on Windows with qmake. An unorganized point cloud shall be read in as a .txt file and triangulated. Any compatible libraries can be used, but they have to be commercially usable for free. The triangulation does not have to represent vertical walls or buildings but only create a terrain model. The triangulation shall be visualized in a small GUI (QWidget application). The .txt file should be selectable via an OpenFileDialog. The triangulation should be exported after consultation.
