Hello. As a linguist I am experienced with transcription and have a foot pedal and appropriate software for this. Organising notes is no problem at all, and my knowledge of the vocabulary of psychiatry and psychology is reasonable, partly due to my personal interests and partly due to a book on Buddhist psychology which I translated from German to English. Having spent a total of almost 2 years in India I am also confident I can deal with any accents and Indian English within the verbal notes, although this would need to be confirmed with a trial period. I have performed transcription for my own research, but not as a professional task, so I cannot say for certain how many minutes of verbal notes I would be able to transcribe per hour. Again, we would best conduct a trial period to see if my rate is acceptable. The hourly rate in my bid is per actual hour of work doing the transcription, not per hour of verbal notes.
