Please, check my feedbacks, first. You will find a lot of successful openwrt projects. I did custom fw for various ZBT, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, movingcom, WD, Xiaomi, open-mesh, Pi, APU, and TPLink, of course. As your new device has very limited resources, the standard firmware image needs to be shrinked down drastically, espacially when building for new(er) openwrt versions, which consume more and more RAM/flash. Unfortunately, I have no TL-WR841N V10 in my collection, to flash your image, to have a look of included packages etc. Do you have the .config from your TL-WR841N V10 - custom build available ?
