I have a pretty basic Joomla 1.5 site using a new YOOtheme for joomla 1.5 called surface. I have the document manager DOCMAN installed. Every aspect of the site works very well, except for Docman. on the joomla website it says that docman supports both joomla 1.5 legacy and joomla 1.5 native. I read on some forums that DOCMAN can in fact work with joomla 1.5.... Transitioning our existing php/html Site into Joomla 1.5. Already purchased a Yootheme template called Page that we would like to use as the basis for the design. The project involves moving our existing content and images into a new design. We would also like to use the new extensions in the Joomla theme to bring attention to some of our new services. Some graphic design will be needed in creating new icons that fit the Page Template. The new template was loaded with the demo data with a clean install of Joomla 1.5. Once the design is done, we will transition from our existing site. We have all the source files for the original and new site.

My host provides Joomla 1.0, so I decided to upload Joomla 1.5 and ran the installer... everything seemed to go fine, but now I'm getting a database error when I try to load the site. I don't care if you troubleshoot this install or delete it all and install from scratch -- whatever is best for you works for me, so long as I end up with a clean install of Joomla 1.5.
