I need to have an online store developed that looks and functions much like the Apple store. I'd like to start by using Joomla 1.5 (Most current build) with Virtuemart 1.1 RC3. I've installed both of these on a test server and the functionality seems fine. That said, I am currently using one of the Yoothemes and it looks fine. What I'd like is the following: 1. Tweak current Yootheme to look like Apple Store and ensure the 'look' propagates to all the Virtuemart Modules 2. Re-brand all Joomla and Virtuemart graphics to be consistent with company graphics. I will provide company graphics in needed sizes. Also, ensure that re-branding is reflected in source code (at least in the public source code, so it's consistent with the GPL) 3. Modify Virtuemart and create a 'Get-A-Quote' component. This would function the same way as the Virtuemart checkout function, but instead of 'paying' it sends an e-mail with the contents of the shopping cart to a pre-defined address. One step further on this concept is the ability to add 'Sales Rep' field to backend which is then selectable on the front-end so the 'Get-A-Quote' request goes specifically to a chosen Sales Representative. 4. Want to ensure we have SEF URLs between both Virtuemart and J!. 5. Utilizing the concept of 'Shopper Groups' already built into Virtuemart, I want the default shopper group to reflect a set price for non-registered (public) users. Then depending on the user logged in, he or she will see prices and products that apply to his/her shopper group. We may need additional functionality, but it can be a part of a separate quote.
