Our freebsd cpanel box was hacked last nite and I need an expert to checkout what was done and if a reload of the box is required. The hack was performed via an unsecure php script which allows user to upload images into a 777 directory. The hacker appears to have uploaded and run an irc/bot script which starts irc/eggdrop and inserted some cron routines that keep re-installing their hacker scripts in new folders, primarily in /tmp and /var/tmp. What the scripts do is unknown, it's your job to find out. I have already killed all the processes I could see, including eggdrop/pitbull, disabled all IRC, and Disable all nobody crontab entries.
