I’m a professional latin dancer (salsa/bachata) and run a super powerful self-development accountability group. The group is new and is the focus of this position. We will work to grow it through YouTube and social media. The goal is to bring 1,000,000 people into the group.
This is a part-time, long-term position.
THE ROLE:
•Edit vids for YouTube (simple edits - usually just me talking to the camera)
•Create thumbnails strategically designed to catch attention
•Research and write text and keywords strategically both for catching human’s attention and SEO
•Post to YouTube
•Cut the video into small pieces for other platforms and edit as needed
•Do simple photo editing as needed (probably with Canva)
•Guide the strategy for posting to other social media and how it relates to the YouTube videos
•Post to other platforms
ABOUT YOU:
• Experience editing vids with a simple desktop video editing application. Does NOT need to be professional software, but must be for desktop (not mobile). Can show examples of your work.
• Experience posting to YouTube and optimizing headlines, descriptions, thumbnails, keywords and more to maximize viewership. Must know how to do the proper research for optimization and understand principles of marketing and gaining attention. Can show examples of your work.
• Experience posting to Facebook and Instagram. A strong understanding of how those platforms work. Twitter would be a bonus. Now Tik Tok is needed too.
• Available to post at times of the day that make sense (unless everything can be scheduled now - not sure)
• Strong written English
• Self starter. Habitually identifies what can improve, and improves it without being told
• Creativity
• Can make decisions independently
• Comfortable making suggestions on what to improve
• Quick learner
• SUPER organized and methodical
• Extremely responsible - always follows through on commitments
• Fast computer for video rendering
• Fast, dependable Internet
• Bonus if you have experience or interest in the self development market!
