Marketing Executive

As Avvio’s Marketing Executive, you’ll be part of the dynamic marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This role requires a junior-level all-rounder. It's varied and fast-paced – always adapting to the landscape within the hotel and travel sectors, as well as the business needs. Strong digital marketing knowledge (spanning SEO, PPC, social, video). Proven event management or co-ordination experience. Excellent time and project management. Comfortable working in a busy environment. Enthusiastic and structured approach to workloads with good problem-solving abilities. Desire to learn about new technologies and developments. Excellent verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Excellent IT skills, especially with MS Office and Google Suite products. Location This role is London based in Avvio’s London office in Hammersmith (with one/two days per week working from home where required following your probation period). Occasional travel is also required between Avvio’s UK and Ireland offices, attendance at events, supplier and client meetings. Events planning, co-ordination and marketing Management and co-ordination of sponsorships, conferences and events calendar. Shared responsibility for planning/managing a broad global events calendar; co-ordination of attending, set-up, competitions, pre-event marketing and lead gen follow-up co-ordination. Management of events cost/package negotiations, contracts handling and securing high-value speaking opportunities to continue to position Avvio’s products and services as market leading. Negotiate speakers, panel members, sponsors and suppliers for in-house events. Nurture ongoing relationships with key industry membership bodies and event organisers. Go-to-Market Activation & Strategic Communications Continuous positioning of Avvio’s technology as market-leading – key to winning new target hotel clients in key markets. Ensuring that each strategic win becomes an ambassador for Avvio, working with colleagues to leverage all PR opportunities. Continuous enhancements to the communication infrastructure and methods employed to reach the target audiences; and also for client communications. Content marketing: supporting the delivery of a content calendar and pushing the thought leadership agenda through regular content publishing.
