Set up intranet for large NYC charter school network using Wordpress

Network of schools seeks someone to set up an intranet/landing page using Wordpress's all-in-one intranet plug-in: ([login to view URL]). Most of the features we want can be accomplished using freeware and plugins. Hosting: We plan to use an external host rather than setting up our own server. Basic Design: Employees will log on to a single page where they will have access to content and external applications. (Login will be through google accounts as permitted by the all-in-one plugin above.) . Functionality: The landing page should include a blog area with blog posts which can be updated daily and links to full blog posts. These links should include a header, an image, and a brief “teaser” (for example: [login to view URL]) It should be easy to update both the announcements and the featured blog posts. Ideally, there would also be a mechanism for employees to submit posts, subject to administrative approval. We need a second content field for brief employee announcements (e.g., “last day to change benefit plans.”). The landing page should also utilize Wordpress plugins to integrate the following features: -All google apps available to users within domain: Google Contacts, Google Calendar, and Google Drive. ([login to view URL]) -The Google employee directory ([login to view URL]) -Zendesk ([login to view URL]). Additionally, the landing page should include links to the following applications or information (we already have the applications so we just need the links inserted): -Slack, Trello, and Bluejeans. -The School Calendar. -Conference room scheduling. -Security submissions for visitors. -A list of important phone numbers (i.e. IT, HR, etc.). Finally, the site should utilize secure SSO. Subsequent updates: If this project is performed successfully, there will be opportunities for other similar work.
