scrape baseball data in an R script

I am looking to build a script that extracts baseball game data from any source or combination, preferably using the "baseballr" package, but not limited to it. The script can utilize a combination of multiple packages or scraping locations if necessary. The deliverables for this script are as follows: This CAN be done in Python via Jupyter notebooks, but I would very much WANT this in R Date of the game (in the format YYYY-MM-DD). Start time of the game in Eastern US time, rounded to the closest hourly time (24-hour format). Home team abbreviation. Away Team Abbreviation A boolean flag to indicate whether the game was played at the home team's own stadium (1 for yes, 0 for no). Amount of time it took to complete the game in hours. The last hour in Eastern time when the game finished (rounded to the closest hourly time). Abbreviations of the two teams who played. Final score of the game. Away team Score Home Team score Total Number of strikeouts. Total Number of hits. Total Number of home runs. Bonus Feature: # of Left handed pitcher who appeared in the game # of Right handed Pitchers who appeared in the game # of Right handed Hitters who appeared in the game # of Left handed Hitters who appeared in the game Combined historical average of all hitters for each team in the game If possible, I would like to obtain stats for each hour played during the game. For example, at Game start + 1 hour, the score is 5 etc Technical Requirements: The script should be capable of running in cron (a time-based job scheduler). Data duplication should be avoided, and the script should maintain a moving compilation of data. The script should also support static runs, allowing the user to specify a start year and end year for data extraction. The output directory should be customizable to allow for testing on different servers or local computers. All timestamps should be in Eastern time (24-hour format), with 6 PM represented as 18:00 for example. Extra Bonus Feature: As a separate script, I would like the ability to perform a join for date, hour(s), and team, and filter out my already produced data as a daily CSV file. The output should include the following variables: ID: Data at the particular stadium that day for the team. Lat: Latitude. Lon: Longitude. OutputMon: Month of output data in UTC. OutputDay: Day of output data in UTC. OutputHour: Output data in UTC. Year: The year of the game (in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS in Eastern time). Please note that a game may finish at 23:00 Eastern time, which corresponds to the "next" day in UTC.
