We are seeking an experienced Vue.js developer to join our team and assist with the enhancement and maintenance of our innovative real estate WordPress plugin. The plugin is designed to integrate with the Bridge RESO API, pulling in MLS listings and providing a seamless user experience for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that combines Vue.js, WordPress, and real estate technology.
Responsibilities:
Street Address Update: One of the primary tasks is to ensure that the street address displayed in the listings always contains the appropriate street suffix (e.g., St., Ave., Pl., Blvd). Currently, the street suffix is missing from some listings, and we need your expertise in Vue.js to rectify this issue. An initial attempt has been made to add the street suffix on a separate branch, but further work is needed to integrate it successfully. You can review the progress made on the separate branch will be provided.
Open House Display: The listings occasionally include open houses, but there is a problem with the display, particularly showing expired open houses on the listing detail page. Your task will involve troubleshooting and resolving this issue to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is presented to our users.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Vue.js is a must, with a proven track record of developing complex Vue.js applications.
Familiarity with WordPress plugin development and integration.
Experience working with external APIs, specifically the Bridge RESO API, will be a plus.
Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information:
The plugin is built out as separate Vue.js apps, including listing grids, listing detail pages, and search bars.
We are also adding pocket/private listings within WordPress as custom post types.
After completing these tasks, we envision a continued collaboration to manage and improve the app, and to work on other projects unrelated to the Vue.js app.
