I am writing a program to record screen using FFMPEG CLI Wrapper in java. The recording works succesfully. I need to find a way to stop the recording when a function is called. According to the FFMPEG CLI Wrapper, killing subprocess stops recording but I am unable to find that option. If someone can help me with it, pelase let me know [login to view URL]

Hello. What is target system? If you use Windows, I would orefer othr solution - convert FFMPEG CLI to DLL and call it by JNI. And there is not needed to care about interprocess communications, also, it's possible to add code for showing progress and statuses of FFMPEG. For linux, I can ofer follow solution: FFMPEG is open source project, therefore it's possible to modify it, to add capability to terminate process by Java, for instance through named-poped message or etc.
