Development desktop alert software

I will have a windows application run in the background that is not visible. It will poll the DB every 1 minute to verify if it should show an alert or not. I will design this using WPF which will give a rich alert box that can make use of animations and pictures. The alert box will have a close button which only functions once a password is entered. Once the close button is pressed I will match the password stored in the database before allowing the alert to close. I have 10 years development experience and also doing analytical work. I make sure my clients are happy with the end product.

Hello, Based on your description you need to develop a software for Windows 7/8 that is monitoring a remote MySQL database and if the conditions are met it must display a window. To close the alert it is required to input a password. I suspect there are more details involved in the project so I suggest to discuss.
