Setting up import script after migrating a magento store to VPS server

We are running a magento store and we have a script which imports products from a XML file. We run the script via visiting a url. Everything worked fine until we transfered the store to a new VPS server. When we try to access the store we got the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function simplexml_load_string() in /home/jancailc/public_html/lib/Varien/Simplexml/[login to view URL] on line 510 We contacted the hosting support and they said to us that the new server is different that the old one, so we have to load some modules etc. They renamed the [login to view URL] file and we can access the backend and the frontend of the website, but when we tried to run the script via url we got: XML PARSING TIME : 0.002459 seconds catalog stock rebuild successfully STATISTICS Runtime TOTAL PRODUCTS 0.000033 seconds 0
