I need someone who has the following tools installed onto their computer or can get them and have no problem in using them: - Debian - Snort - All other tools required for snort to work such as Barnyard2 but the one taking this job shoud be familir anyway - Snorby - MySQL - Any other tool that may be required There will need to be a some type of server setup as well. This could be an Apache server although i will take advice id in my best interest but the purpose of it would be to be used for monitoring by the IDS and collect the data from it. The final part would be to write up a simple python script or program that would allow it get the data stored inside a MySQL database by the Snort IDS and output it in a presentable format such as tables. There is something more with the output and purpose of the program but this will only be given as well once i am satisfied with the progress. I will supply IP addresses so if you could enter them in a static format with the corresponding Interface and would suggest using something like VMware. At the end i would need the following: - A copy of the Virtual Disk with all the configuration - The Server setup and working - Python Script/Program - Brief demonstration if required Regarding the payment, this would vary. For example, if someone could deliver within 24 hours then I would pay a lot more than if it was delivered within 36 hours which at that point and forward the price percentage would drop rapidly.
