hey hope you are fine.i have seen details about your project,you can contact me for more detail.i can give you over view,3 years of experience in IT security implementation, without SSL we can use custom security but that is costly more then SSL due to hard coded not easy to break because unknow knowledge which technology has been implemented, so no explanation, exploitation is used when we know information about server and their running security.....

Hi, I see that you are interested in developing a HR system to mange the company resources, i believe you are about to use php,mysql to develop the project and deploy it on a linux server. You are concerned about the security, this is where i come in, You can add multiple layers of security but the best solution is to pentest the code that you write and start securing your code 1st. There are also lots of good frameworks out there which makes the task easier. You have to use encryption, obfuscation many more cool techniques to secure your code which i will guide you through. I've been doing this for my past 6 years on a daily basis. I know that the information you store is sensitive, that is why we will use strong encryption to protect the data. I've been writing HIPAA compliant apps and this i'm already familiar with it. Then we can move onto installing a WAF ( web application firewall ) as an next level layer of security. Mod Secuirty is among the best, this will make it way more harder for a potential attacker. We can also install a IDS ( Intrusion detection system ) on the server. a good firewall too ( CSF ) There are also free third party services like cloudflare which will protect your from further more attacks, it too has its WAF And IDS built in for free.
