I am writing to apply for the WordPress plugin development job posted on Freelancer.com. I have been working on developing a WordPress plugin that aims to provide a unique shipping route protection option at checkout. However, due to limited time, I require assistance in finalizing it.
The plugin should display a fee at checkout based on the admin's set percentage in Woocommerce > Shipping Route Protection Settings page. Additionally, each order should be assigned a unique shipping route number, such as RT589ML67.
In the WordPress Admin's Shipping Route Dashboard page, all relevant data, including Order Date, Order Number, Unique Route Order Number, Customer Email, Order Subtotal, Shipping Route Protection Status, and Shipping Route Protection Fee Paid, should be displayed. The admin should also have the ability to export this data in CSV format and filter it by order number, date, or Unique Route Order Number.
On the customer account page, there should be an option for customers to file a lost shipment claim, providing their name, selecting the order number, and describing the issue. Once a claim is submitted, both the customer and WordPress admin should receive email notifications with an automatically generated claim number and the claim status set to pending.
