simple search result page

Hello, I need one script to display a search result page out of an XML doc. Basically you get the search term as parameter, you call another URL with this parameter that will return the search results in XML, then you display the results in an HTML table. You'll have to use the layout of my existing site (the header and the font for the search result table) and log each search in a text file. I have a one page document explaining all this in detail. Very simple, should take 2-3 hours at most.
