This is a model of a vehcile (car, truck, ..) wheel impacting a steel strip fixed to the ground (as if it's a bump) same way a wheel hits and rolls over a bump. The steel strip has an oval cross section of 1*1/2 looks like a bump cross section. The wheel has the same properties as the vehicle tire. I am interested in strip surface waves. I have created a solid model of this but have problems making it work. The suggested software for simulation LS-dyna unless you can recommend something else
The output:
Stress Waves - Displacement Waves on steel strip
Stress-Displacement vs time on specific nodes or Displacement vs time on specific nodes
This is not modal analysis
The output should show waves propagating from impact position..just like this

but the strip is fixed to the ground and it's not a composite...the waves would be surface waves
The model
It's a model of a tire rolling and impacting a steel strip.
The input parameters:
Changing Weight on Tire (wheel)
Changing Velocity of Tire
Changing Tire pressure
Changing the tire position w.r.t. strip (The impacting position)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
