The board are two types and moves are allowed left, right, up and (for regtangular board) and add diagonal (se, sw, ne,nw) for triagular . I believe the program should have some sort of list of legal moves, reporesnting as facts (that is possible moves to the left , right, up and down, etc depending on the board) and then some algorithm that chooses the various moves on various pegs. In approx. X-moved to emply the board.
The code must be 150 lines max. or less Must be in 'Prolog'.
The program should work for two types of boards.
1- triangle board (9 pegs and one hole on top)
A move results a peg jumping over another peg and lands on empty, the two pegs and the hole must be co-liner and the stationary peg that are jumped over is removed. Above diagram shows the allowed move. The object of the game is to leave a single peg
2- to solve rectangular type board with up to 8 x 6 (47 pegs and 1 hole on the top left) as starting point.
