Design Website/Database for Transportation Company
* Basic trip schedule w/ prices.
* 6-month calendar showing schedule and prices, with auto updating based on "basic trip schedule", and click-to order ability showing available seats for particular trip.
* Ability to click a particular facility which will automatically show a 6-month visiting schedule for just that facility based off of the” basic trip schedule”.
* Automatic emailing of particular trip schedule to drivers 48 hours in advance of trip.
* Ability for customers to "click" and type email to company.
* When customer clicks on specific trip, box should appear for payment method/information, along with area for customer contact information (including check-box if customer wants to join free preferred customer club), and information on inmate(s) being visited (name and number). If possible, it would be nice for preferred customers to have their information stored in such a manner that would allow easier subsequent purchases. Maybe they could be assigned a password that would auto fill the required purchase information and give them an opportunity to update or change it.
* Issue confirmation receipt/ticket to customers who make a purchase. (option of printing immediately, and one automatically emailed or text-messaged)
* Contain automatically updated data base on all customers, sortable by categories. (i.e. usage, preferred customer, date of birth, etc.)
* Contain notice that customer information is confidential and will not be disclosed to any source.
* Contain link to all separate DOC facility visiting schedules/rules.
* Contain link to general DOC visiting policy.
* Contain link to DOC's inmate locator.
* Automatic updating of accounting programs and forms based on actual sales, expenses, etc. (i.e. flow charts, income summaries, 12-month/5-year projections, etc.) (Access by management only.)
* Contain ability for secure remote employee sign-in to view/print particular trip schedule and verify customer purchases. Also needs to allow completion of daily trip log and maintenance log, and viewing of company policy, etc. (Would prefer that log entries be unchangeable once saved.)
* Contain ability for secure remote management access to make updates, view, etc.
* Would need to link to Microsoft Excel, Access and some sort of automated accounting program, such as Quicken.
* Would need to track prison visits so that trips to nonprofitable facilities could be decreased.
* Would need to back-up regularly and be immediately reloadable in case of system crash. This should include ability to be run by stand-alone PC in event providers system fails.
* Contain rules for customers travelling in company operated vehicles.
Employee email addresses, that provide for the sending, receiving and auto-forwarding of emails.
