Car Classifed Web Page with PHP / MySQL/ Ajax Looking for professional Web developers to built classifed car advertisement portal. Functionalities are liseted below. There will be four types of user for this website. Visitors: - will be able to search for used car and if they find a suitable car they will be able to contact the seller. ( Everyone should be able to search / browse thru the site but login is required if you need to contact with seller/ or park the car to the users garage. Users: Should be registered for free with Should be able to “park” the car they are interested Should able able to add adverts with upto 4 pictures , and max 5 adverts the same time. Should be able to buy premium advert add-ons ( bold title in listing, priority above others ; just like ebay listings) Should be able to buy premium add-ons while editing ( ie: you edit the placed advert then select the add ons) Should be able to save the advertisement as template / draft. Dealers: Should be able to register for free. Should be able to see how many users have “parked “ their listings. Should be able to place unlimited adverts with max 8 pictures. Should be able to buy a credit and this should be used thru the advertisements on site. Should be able to save the advertisement as template / draft. Both User / Dealer should be login with their registered emails. No different login pages , all should go thru same page. Under Control Panel, they should see the cars they have listed or parked . Only dealers should be able to buy credit, users have to go thru check out for their listings. Admin: New adverts should be registered as Pending but has to be available in users control Panel and admin will approve / deny this Should be able to add / remove credit from Dealer / User Accounts Will have full power on listings. ( Edit / Delete / Update) Should be able to add cities for registration. Should be able to add new make / model to database to keep the system up to date. Design should be unique , no ready templates , can be derrived from them but should have significant improvements with car related logo. System should be developed in a template manner to allow further editing with min. impact ( prefer top / content / bottom approach ) There shouldn’t be any max image size limitations, but php code should be used to resize images to 800*600 resolution before upload. Advert Page should use an eye cathing and usefull image gallery , not just a single click and a pop up. No files should be stored in database ; only filenames and the files should be located in other directory from site images. Effective usage of cookies are required ; this will be explained during development. The system should be built using complete error logging and debugging mechanisms. Efficient use of MVC framework (classes/controllers/viewers). Site will be trasnferred to another language thus functions should be explained clearly with comments Use of global declarations where possible – this enables future changes simpler Centralized snippets which are used to handle core system parts such as database configurations, good use of Constants files which allow future changes to be made quite simply Complete and function banner management system. In brief some of the common web technologies that should be used during the development of the frontend are – AJAX,JavaScript,JQUERY,CSS,XHTML use of other common open source libraries Browser side scripting should be carefully deployed so that all scripts are compatible with commonly used browsers including various versions I would like to see a proven record of web-design & programming work also from the bidders. This is planning to be an on going project for future with improvements so would also prefer to work in a professional manner for further improvements
