Descriptive Geometry Project

This project involves knowledge of: Descriptive Geometry; Visul Basic 6.0; VRML. ## Deliverables This project intend facilitate the acquisition of knowledge to the students of Descriptive Geometry. The program aims at to stimulate the perception of the basic elements (point, line and plane ), doing equivalences between space objects (VRML) and the respective projection that the elements present when drawn in the paper. This project requires the development of a program in Visual Basic 6.0 for Windows NT, composite of two main interfaces : 1)Interface vrml based on software " Cosmo Player " with capacity to move a object in its space position. 2)Interface of drawing with capacity to move a object in its space position (identical to drawing or move a line in a software like " PowerPoint "). The alterations made in one of the interfaces will have to reflect in the other given interface existing equivalence between both. It will have to be possible open / save the result of each exercise in a clear text file to folder, diskette or in an Access database on the Internet through a ASP page . Thus , it will be easy to share exercises between the students of this discipline, therefore when the text file is read and interpreted is converted for the corresponding language of each interface(vrml and Drawing). Given the difficulties of these objectives, I am opened to the suggestions that anyone judge necessary to present. I believe this is a interesting project in programming and therefore exceeds a little the standard applications which does have nothing to invent or to discover. Grateful for the attention. Calfeca
