Expert System

I have the intention of building an expert system using prolog (or other programming language), under the jurisdiction of A.I. This ES will hold a database of recommended food sites locally. The ES should have an attractive GUI where users can select options based on drop down boxes such as : Type of cuisine Hours of operation (Day/Night/After 12) Location - North south east west, which is then further broken down. Perhaps have details like what sort of bus services operate in the area, etc. I am still working on the database, and the selection process. I believe it is easier to work with the whole project when the selection process is finalised and the ES can be coded that way. I would like to try ES as it is rather unconventional in offering suggestions in these sort of projects. I am still open to suggestions from everyone on what they think they can do to enhance the project and how the ES can help in solving certain issues that cannot be done using other programming language. I am looking to finalising everything and commencing the project after ironing out certain issues with the good people (you!) in about 2 weeks or so from now. ie, the project will NOT commence yet. Time is not an issue and 4 weeks or so will be estimated duration of the project. Please offer your suggestions and bid please! By the way ,the database will not be too large as I live in Singapore, a small city in South East Asia, where food's everywhere but good food is hard to find when you want it sometimes! So this will hopefully help. Documentation of the code will be needed too. Thanks! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
