Lisp (PS Scheme) : The Government has recently announced plans to introduce electronic voting and this is being piloted in this year's general election. Some commentators are concerned that this may mean the end of the tallyman as a personality at Irish election counts. Write a Scheme program to undertake some of the work of a tallyman in predicting election results in a multi-seat constituency. The program need only consider first and second preference votes, and disregard lower preferences. You may not however assume a specific number of candidates or seats. Votes will either have a preference for all Candidates and be in the format of (3 2 1 5 4) {meaning lst preference for Candidate 3, 2nd for Candidate 2 and so on} or have a preference for only some Candidates (0 0 3 1 2) {indicating that no preference was given in this instance to Candidates 1 and 2} .You may assume that all votes are valid. Prolog: House swaps are a popular way of organising holidays while keeping costs down. However it is not al ways easy to match up interested people with the best available option as their criteria may be different. For example for some people location might be the most important consideration, while for others it might be the facilities available in the house itself. Write a Prolog program to help a house swap organisation in matching customers. The program should use profiles of typical house swappers based on criteria you choose to use. The program should also maintain data on customers and the suggestions made to them, and use this data to offer a more personal and customised service should the customer return, as well as using it to develop its profiles of typical house swappers.
