Looking for a programmer to do some simple work to develop a Windows application to do basic file manipulation and conversion. In a nutshell, the application will take an input in the form of a CSV file and perform file processing as follows: 1. Copying of files (including a filter to specify file type) from a drive or UNC path to a specified location and output of file listing to CSV (including a filter to specify file type); 2. Conversion of multi-page PDFs to TIFF and/or JPG including a customisable output file name (e.g. prefix, page number, suffix etc); 3. Creation of a flat file index of files processed; 4. Batch printing of files in a specific file order (which is supplied in CSV format) including insertion of a simple, customisable "slip sheet" between files (essentially, a TAB page between specific docs ... for example, Email, slipsheet, email, attachment 1, attachment 2, slip sheet, email). Slip sheet to be a customisable with simple text and a reference back to the original file name) 5. Searching of PDF, Excel, Word and HTML files for pattern of any number of given document numbers (e.g. DOC.001.0023.0023) using something like a regular expression, creation of a CSV file containing output of names/patterns, insertion of hyperlinks into document where practical and copying of matched files from a given source directory.
