Online Document Editor

On-Line Document Editor we have a website done in Perl for our Medical Transcription Workflow, using which our clients can list and download their transcripts. The common formats of these transcripts are RTF / Doc. We want to provide our clients a easy way to edit the files already present in our server and save it back to our server via the Web Browser, mainly Internet Explorer 6 & 8. We cannot install any additional plugins / JRE / ActiveX / Flash or any such component on the clients PC. For the purpose of online editing if you need to convert it to HTML / XML, it is ok, but when the save is done, it must be in RTF or Doc format. We want to integrate the proposed solution for the RTF / Doc editing as part of the existing Web Application. We should be able to maintain the formatting and alignment of the document. If it is easier to handle RTF format, we can focus on RTF alone. The document might contain Header / Footer information that may include images also. This will be used mainly to edit the documents already available in the server.
