Custom Database Module

Need a small business inventory solution. Solution should function by operating as a standalone platform to manage inventory changes on website, quickbooks and to export as price sheets. 1 update should change update both web and quickbooks in real time. Website is being revamped, can use OScommerce, Virtuemart etc.. need input from coder what would work best for this.
