Linux Touch Screen Kiosk

Summary: A keyboard-less, mouse-less all-in one touch screen computer will be used to access limited applications/services. The Kiosk will run on a Linux OS with a GNOME customized Environment where an on screen touch screen keyboard will be available for data entry. Hardware specifications: DELL Studio One 19 with touch screen OS: Linux Ubunto/Generic GUI application: Customized GNOME to limit functions and views. The Admin can configure GNOME screens for the Kiosk application. Kiosk Applications: When the system boots it will go to home state; there will be few icons representing sub applications. When selecting an application by touching the icon. It will call the application or the Web site. Always the user can go back to home. Will consider using other distribution or graphic interface if you make the right argument.
