Gift Card Tracking System

We would like to develop a gift card tracking software to enable our clients to issue and track their gift cards online. The software/site must have the following function. - It must be simple and easy to use. - It must be able to handle all types of gift cards transaction. (Issue, Load, Debit etc) - It must have reporting functions, so users can select different types of reports by dates. - It must be able to handle multiple accounts (i.e. We will have different companies joining and each will requires a separate account so they won't see others transactions. However, within the same company, different stores will also require different logins account so gift card transactions can be tracked by stores.) # We want this to work on any web browser and both the iOS and Android environment. The best scenario would be to have a simple app designed for both as well, so clients can use this system on the go. # Picturing how this is going to work, the user login to their company account. Then the cursor will stay on a field where it is ready to accept barcode scan for the gift card numbers or the user can enter it with the keyboard. Once the gift card numbers is entered, it will show whether the card has been issued, if not a pop up will appear to ask if you want to issue the card. Then you can type in the value and some other details to issue the card. # But if not numbers match a card that has already been issued, it will display its balance and has the option to reload more value or deduct value from the card. # Very simple . Nothing Fancy . Basically is just plus and minus. # However, since it is related to actual money. We are very concern about the integrity and security of the program, let us know if an SSL will be enough protection. # The system needs to have the functionality to backup its data.
