X-Cart Customization

I have X cart installed and chose it due to it's admin and provider feature. I need to modify it into a MP3 "mall" of sorts. It will only sell e-goods. The provider side will be musicians that are selling products on the site. They will not have upload capabilities, but when they login, they should only see their sales. No other option need be available, just a slick presentation of their sales and the ability to search through months, years, etc. The admin will upload the mp3 files. I need a simpler way to upload multiple files and assign them to musicians. And as this is a MP3 store, I need the uploaded files to play/preview on the product page. The cool sliding ajax players that are popular on blogs would be nice, and if possible, upon upload have the preview mp3 turned to lo-fi for streaming, while still selling the hi-fi version. Also, on the product page, the ability to buy each individual MP3 is necessary. So one product page would be the CD the musician is selling, but what the customer can actually buy is the individual tracks from that CD, 1 by 1 from that page. They can also preview the tracks from that same page. So one product or CD would make up a page, but many MP3s would be sold from the page, and the ONLY thing that can be bought are individual MP3s, not CDs. And I need the featured items to be a photo slide show at the top of the home page instead of tiled. Customers should be able to manual and auto scroll through featured items, with brief description and buy button, and view product.
