Parsing, mostly

Ok, here's the scoop: I need someone with solid knowledge of PHP. If you're also able to handle Java, all the better, because then we may also work together on a second, significantly bigger project. The first project would include you writing a parser that fetches chunks of text from two different sources and displays it nicely on a website. That's basically it (with certain tweaks). The result should also be accessible via PDA, so we'd have to figure out how to make it look nice on a blackberry. Some of the work has alreay been done, but you'll be welcome to take a look at the existing code and work on improvements. The entire project shouldn't take longer than 4-6 weeks to complete, without rushing anything (and you'll have plenty of time to work on other stuff on the side). I'm looking to spend about $1,500 max, depending on the complexity of the project at the final stage. If you are interested, please provide me with working links to projects that you have completed in the past. It doesn't need to be about parsing, but obviously that would helpful. Cheers, P.L.
