Clean up source code, check compile

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY UNLESS YOUR COMPANY MEETS THE CRITERIA SPECIFIED IN 'Company requirements'. NO INDIVIDUALS, NO EXCEPTIONS The project is to (i) Take delivery of two software applications, built in HTML/XML, Oracle 9iAS, Oracle 8.1.7 and J2EE, BEA 6.0 SP2, Oracle 8.1.7 (ii) Install database, application servers, software applications (installation instructions are provided) from source. Compile both applications from source (iii) Clean up source code adding proprietary marks, and editing out some of coder's comments (iv) Clean up approximately 200 documents adding proprietary marks, and editing out some of coder's wording (probably one to three words in each) (v) Recompile and test to ensure code is properly working (vi) Write detailed report on project, what undertaken, what changed (v) Assemble, organize documents (vi) Assemble, organize code for re-delivery (vii) Redeliver Skills required: J2EE XML BEA Oracle 9iAS Oracle 8.1.7 Approach required: A careful, well thought through and executed approach is required. The two applications comprise a large and complex enterprise software system, and a thorough quality approach will be required to maintain the integrity of the applications. Company requirements: Vendor location: We are looking for the vendor to be based in India in either of Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai. Vendor size: The company must be a minimum of 5 - 10 qualified full time programmers. This number should not be computed by taking part timers or contractors. A representative of the company visits India from time to time and will visit after the commencement of this project, when verification will be made. The reason for this requirement is that great difficulty is experienced working with companies with projects of the complexity necessitated by our system who are difficult to contact, or do not have sufficient resource to apply to this type of project, or projects get delayed. ## Deliverables Deliverables are (i) Amended uncompiled and compiled programs (ii) Report on work undertaken including description of compilation (iii) Completed tests that programs performing in same way pre the work as post the work ## Platform Oracle 8.1.7 BEA 6.0 Webserver SP2 Oracle 9i Application Server J2EE XML/HTML
