Simple, lite PHP comment system needed (no login for users)

Looking to have a simple comment system built for an existing website. The site is for a funeral home which sometimes posts obituaries online for recent deaths. Site owner would like family/friends to be able to leave rememberances on the respective pages of their deceased loved ones. The pages in the site are PHP so system would need to be conduscive to that. MySQL OK if needed. Looking for recommendations as to the best way to handle this - would like to try and eliminate potential spam as much as possible, so I'm looking for suggestions on how this might be doable. Email confirmation on posts? Would Captcha be suficient? Comments held for moderation? Cost would be a factor in determining method. We would like to avoid a registration/login system for comment posting as it would make things overly complicated for grieving families. The less they have to do the better, but we don't want it too open for abuse. The site owner would also like to be able to delete inappropriate posts. The system needs to be developed fully and ready for use and we would need assistance/direction in how to implement necessary code in PHP pages.
