You are using the Google Distance matrix API in both apps for distance calculation, right?. Hence first of all, have you try checking your request directly in browser? which you given as a payload to call the distance calculation web service. I mean, is your request illustrates as a valid JSON?. May be the number of calling is exceeding over Google limitation, therefore IP has been blocked as Google API supports only 50 requests per second whether it is a Standard Usage or Premium Usage. I was screwed up and became crazy with google API distance matrix. A simple requirement was I had an origin and destination and wanted to monitor travel time on a route over time. For this, I was interested in collecting travel time between 2 points along the same route at different times of the day. The issue here was that I could only retrieve information related to the fastest route and its travel time. But whenever I was put it off and passed through by manually to track between these two travel points, sometime I was getting are null values. It worked for me after added a service that cached it temporarily and confirm the validity and fill out missing or incorrect information. I can amend my device timezone same with Sydney Australia, therefore it will not be a problem for testing at all. It will be great if I can get the source code for both App ends to debug at least.
