Its getting late in the semester and I have a lot of assignments building up on my desk. Its time to do some out sourcing. (The official assignment requirements will be forwarded to the winner of the contract which includes all the detains and formats to be used.) The app needed is very simple Java. Its basically a reservation system for a motel. A text file is used for input. It'll read the customer information and room preferences (smoking or non smoking) and assign them a room if available. If not available it will put them on a waiting list. After it has read all the customers from the txt file, it should print the outcome to a new txt file. There is no database and no GUI. This Project needs to be completed by 4/18 at the latest - I know this is very little work for anyone with Java experience and some time.

This can be done hassle free within your expected timeline. It should have been better if you could have posted the I/O file formats in which you expect the application to read/write the data. Anyways, I believe it won't be a problem as your requirements are against an school assignment and that you are definitely not looking for a professional code.
