Blog Layout/Design and Banners for Social Network Sites

I am looking for someone who can ad some snazzy banners to a few of the social media sites we've just booted up. I want to be able to direct people to them and 'advertise' the brand objectives while having it look professional and appealing to a growing audience. I would also like the blog pages utilized or designed better so that they're simple to use for the audience to browse and send/upload their own material onto the sites. In due time I would be looking to develop my own site specifically geared at giving viewers this upload option. The brand is brand new! It's a cultural movement that encompasses artists of all mediums and seeks their involvement by sending us or uploading their material on the sites. This could be anything from photos to videos to audio to writing. Currently the sites/blogs feel very one-sided and I want them to feel like one community. I've done my best to make them user friendly but some expertise and custom design work could help, along with the promotion that will come with the banners and the offline marketing and PR that also helps drive the audience there. It would be great if the blogs felt more like websites and were easier to navigate until I have a custom website built. If we could position the sites and blogs well under search engines, pointing to the brand name or the nature of the sites objectives that could help too... but I'm not sure if that's a whole new project! I've put up project posts for both the banner design and the social network site layout/design so if the one person can do both then great, otherwise I will find people to do each task.
