t-shirt design

Looking for a graphic designer to help clean up our designs and maybe create some new ones. Also with some of our competitors designs we want to be redone but better. Our designs are basically in jpg format and will need to be in adobe illustrator format. Please see our printers guidlines at the bottom. And read carefully!! And this is our printers preferred format>>>>>>> ( * ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - our preferred file format. Create outlines for fonts. Save as .EPS ) We are starting out with t-shirts and hats and possibility of skateboards, and will eventually having our designs printed on just about every kind of garment. Less will be paid for reworks/reformats than originals. We are actually looking for a long term relationship and maybe paying on a commission basis. A designer that we use exclusively would be outstanding. We would like to start with 1 design and see how it goes. First look at our uploaded pics and let us know what it would take to reformat the first design, And of course we will need the design ready for printing with out the shirt in the back ground. And payment will be made once our printer approves the format. We are thinking really long term with a never ending project. Digital Art Requirements for spot color printing. Minimum specifications are required to achieve good print results. Please follow the instructions below. Digital artwork must be submitted in accepted formats only. * All files must be in .EPS format. * All fonts must be converted to outlines. * All colors must be converted to spot colors with correct Pantone numbers. * Please submit files with images SIZED for printing. * Compress large files (over 1 MB) using Stuff-it or Winzip. * Send additional .JPG version of file to communicate color representation if file does not display color the way you want it printed. Applications Accepted: * ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - our preferred file format. Create outlines for fonts. Save as .EPS * FREEHAND - Convert text to paths. Save as .EPS. * COREL DRAW - Convert text to paths. Save as .AI file. * ADOBE PHOTOSHOP - Should be used only for photographic images, not great for type or logos. * QUARK - Must include all font files and placed images. Placing a scanned image (or an image created in another program) into an Illustrator file does not make the file a vector image. Applications NOT Accepted: The following programs do not allow us to create proper separations: * POWERPOINT * WORD or any word processing program. Adobe Photoshop is the standard for photographic digital imaging. * Files should be presented in photoshop, .PSD, .TIFF or .EPS formats only. * .GIF or .JPG files will require artwork time for separation purposes. Send additional .JPG version of file to communicate color representation if file does not display color the way you want it printed. * Resolutions should be 300 dpi at initial creation of file sized. * Send a printed color hard copy to use as a "target" in the separation process since all monitors are different. * Please submit files with images SIZED for printing. * Compress large files (over 1 MB) using Stuff-it or Winzip. * DO NOT Flatten files.
