We are looking to develop a new website for Emerge Global, a nonprofit that equips teenager survivors of sexual abuse with the business acumen, life skills, and capital needed to lead healthy, self-sufficient lives. Using jewelry creation as a tool for education, art therapy, and financial empowerment, Emerge has enabled hundreds of young women to launch businesses, finance education, and even build homes. Emerge was selected as Boston’s Small Charity of the Year (2010, Classy Awards) and has been featured on the front page of the Boston Globe’s fashion section, in Glamour Magazine, and on Good Morning Sri Lanka. We are currently looking to develop a website on limited budget that is easy for volunteers to manage (we currently use a wordpress template and I suspect this would be easiest for volunteers moving forward but am open to other CMS as well). Current website: [login to view URL] We need the website to: -Include all basic information about our nonprofit (program descriptions, team, financials, contact information, press, blog, videos and photos, link to FB page etc) -Have an eCommerce platform to sell the jewelry our participants make -Enable people to donate to certain projects or items (example: [login to view URL]), or to the organization as a whole Look/feel: -We want to use our existing logo -Ideally this would feel like fashion website meets nonprofit - clean lines and fonts, light background with colorful images This wordpress template has all the functionality we need: [login to view URL] -The top banner (with logo and contact details) as well as the dark grey menu bar feels a little clunky -- I wonder if we could lighten it up by making it a light color or thinner? -Happy to purchase this template and have it installed and customized for us if this would make the most sense Websites for inspiration: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] While we don't have a lot of resources, we are happy to acknowledge you for your work on our website
