Comprehensive Banking Expertise Needed

Role Description This is a temporary remote role for a Loan Originator. The consultant should have implemented risk-based pricing and internal rating models for at least 5 banks . The consultant should be able to demonstrate an understanding of digital lending products i.e. The outcome should include models to support digital lending for the following but not limited to : • Customers term loans • Customers payday loans • Customers micro loans • Scheme loans • MSME micro loans to marketers and small businesses • Trade finance • Temporal Overdrafts Overall Internal Rating Models Scope • Review the existing loan underwriting manuals and create a gap assessment report based on observed holes in client credit risk assessment. • Analyze the loan portfolio and make recommendations on how many internal rating models to construct and how to apply them to different company divisions. • These recommendations should be based on the local and regional business contexts and best practices. • Propose credit rating criteria and weights for the various models for consideration by the Bank's management team. • Create internal rating models for the agreed-upon portfolios, including the essential parameters. • Collaborate with the Bank's team to back-test each model based on the initial models created. • Submit your observations from the initial back-testing, and adjust the model parameters as needed. • Please submit the Governance structure for model adoption, review, maintenance, and reporting.
