Hey, I am working on a project where we fetch images from Instagram and collect all these images in various "buckets" based on X criteria. We have run into a problem which has turned into a bigger problem - it seems!.. In order for us to use these images, which are captured via the Instagram (FB) API, we would like to send a message to the Instagram user whether we can use their image for our website. Does anyone have experience with how we can send messages from our Application and directly to the Instagram user. FB itself says that we cannot "initiate" a conversation... which makes it very difficult for us to ask for permission to use the image.
