Straight forward programming required to correct data base where last names and first names were sapped on about one-third of 4000 population data base. Tried =IF(A1="3", B1, C1). The above example means if cell A1 equals 3, then copy cell B1 to this cell, otherwise copy cell C1 here. I am getting cell C1 regardless of “3” in a1 or not. All cells are formatted top “Genera;”. Please do not send a me a formula and eave as I have already paid for that and lost my money. I need either phone e or chat to get help if solution does not work.
