Automate daily file management (from FTP) and update inventory in Shopify

Automate Daily File Management and Update for Shopify CSV. Project Description: We require an automation solution to streamline our daily operations related to our Shopify store's inventory. The task involves interacting with FTP, processing CSV files, and updating our Shopify inventory accordingly. Detailed Requirements: [login to view URL] Retrieval: Automatically download a CSV file once a day from FTP. This CSV is provided by our supplier (Supplier – [login to view URL] attached) and contains item information. This file has different format than Shopify template (Shopify – [login to view URL] attached). It contains thousands of items but we are only interested in less than 100. [login to view URL] Processing: Use the newly downloaded CSV in tandem with our master file (which represents the active articles on our website) to make the following adjustments: 2.1 Existing Articles: For articles that already exist in our master file, update their stock and price based on the new CSV. 2.2 New Articles: If an article from the new CSV doesn't exist in our master file, add it with all the necessary information. To do this, you need to create a piece of code to map the information from Supplier’s file to Shopify Template ([login to view URL] file attached). 2.3 Inactive Articles: If an article from our master file isn't found in the new CSV, mark it as inactive. [login to view URL] Upload: After processing, upload the new CSV to Shopify. This automated process need to be run on daily basis. If other 3rd party software are required (like Mesa and Matrixify), we are open to consider it but free solutions (like script on Pythin) are preference. [login to view URL] case of error, an email or file log should be created and be sent. Lastly, one page with a diagram of the process flow and what software is used for future reference and handover. Key Skills Required: Familiarity with FTP and its API or relevant functions Strong understanding of CSV file manipulation Experience with Shopify (especially its CSV format and inventory management), Mesa and Matrixify (u other automation software) or Paython. Additional Notes: Please ensure the solution is robust and allows for potential error handling, ensuring minimal manual intervention once set up.
