Reporting to our Managing Director, the experienced Content Editor (with newsroom level experience), will rapidly immerse themselves in new topics to create high quality/high impact content that will inspire and guide our teenage innovators (we call them Sherpees) through their SuperSquad journey. The role of the Squad Content Editor is crucial to the success of our SuperSquads and encompasses; researching topics, collating mixed media bit-sized stimuli that would engage a teen audience, custom-creating content that will guide people through a process and managing it through a content management system, collating insights and writing reports and updates Working in partnership with our Relationship management, Marketing and SuperSquad support teams, the Squad Editor is vital in enabling us to deliver on our impact to our young people (we call Sherpees) and our Partners. Responsibilities: -Content creation -Content production -Impact and engagement -Insights and storytelling -Reporting The role centres around individual SuperSquads (and Design Questions) that operate in an 8 week cycle that is broken down into 3 main phases; Pre-Squad (1 week): Developing content to inspire the SuperSquad - source and develop engaging content that will be used through the course of the SuperSquad to engage, build context and spark the Sherpees curiosity. Curating missions - Ensure that all the missions designed and set for the SuperSquad fit with the focus of the Design Question from Weeks 2 - 6 and editing within agreed scope where required. Squad (6-weeks): SuperSquad engagement - Delivering content to the SuperSquad and helping to drive engagement within the Squad; Adding additional snippets of content, thoughts and humour into the Squad Leading Squad check-in calls (with support of the relationship manager) consisting of the; Squad Kick-off call, Mid-Squad check-in call and the End of Squad celebration. Curation of insights to deliver to our partners and stakeholders and posted on social media Post-Squad (1 week): Creating the post-Squad Impact report & case study - Gathering in all the insights and ideas from the SuperSquad, to create the final report in line with Startup Sherpas standards. Packaging up - Ensure that the impact report and key insights are packaged up so that they can be shared with our Partner and stakeholders. Duration and hours (per-SuperSquad): Each SuperSquad cycle is 8 weeks in duration with hours flexing through the course of the Squad, we anticipate: 2 days (16hrs) for creation of programme content for each squad 8 hrs per week for engagement and insights collation during the 6 weeks duration of the Squad 2 days (16hrs) for creation of post-Squad assets e.g. impact report, case study and packaging up
