We are students of IIT Roorkee that have currently applied for funding for our startup idea. The problem statement is as follows: Input: A selfie of the user and an image of spectacles Output: 3D model of user on which spectacles are placed automatically within a few seconds. Note: 1. A reference open source code will be provided to convert selfie to 3D. Nothing will be provided for the spectacles. 2. Final Code provided must not have any open source code in it. It should be patentable. 3. NDA and IP will be signed. 4. The output should be reached in less than 5 seconds. 5. Code should be functional on a website. 6. We are looking to reach this outcome as soon as possible.

I would like to discuss further regarding this project. I have previous experience using openCV for face tracking. I'm also well versed in python, ML and DL. What I understand from this is that you require both a modelled 3d face of the person and you need a spectacle placed on top of it. I would suggest that if you're intention is to perhaps go for a better trialing process than lenskart perhaps then an AR based spectacle on the persons face would make more sense. Sure enough, as per your requirements, if you need a 3D model, that works too. The time can be worked out by decreasing the number of triangles as all I see here that would be server intensive is the rendering
