I'm in need of an experienced content creator and manager to handle the content creation and distribution of maternal newborn and maternal child health information.
I need content to be focused on prenatal care, postnatal care, and breastfeeding support. The target audience for this content will be pregnant women, new mothers, healthcare professionals, and new parent families of NICU graduates, adoption or foster care infants.
The main distribution channels for the content will be social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and email newsletters.
Ideal skills and experience for this role include:
- Strong background in maternal and child health
- Familiarity with pregnancy care, newborn care, postpartum recovery and breastfeeding.
- Understanding of the needs and concerns of pregnant women, new mothers, families and healthcare professionals
- Proven experience in creating content for a diverse audience, including those that have gone through the NICU, adoption or foster care processes.
- Proven ability to create engaging written articles, videos, and infographics.
- Familiarity with social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and email marketing
- Ability to create a monthly content calendar.
- Consistent engagement with our target audience.
- Ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and evidence-based.
Your role will primarily involve creating written articles, videos, and infographics covering these areas. Being able to pitch ideas for new content is a plus. We aim to grow and engage our audience on a monthly basis, so the ability to create fresh content regularly is crucial.
I'm looking for a professional who can not only create high-quality and relevant content but also manage its distribution effectively. The ability to tailor content to each of the target groups and the experience to understand the unique needs of NICU graduates, adoptive or foster parents is crucial in this role. Your work will be an important part of supporting and educating these key groups in maternal and newborn health-related issues.
