Community app

I am looking to build a mobile Community app for both iOS and Android platforms that will include chat functionality, an event calendar, and user profiles. I am seeking a timeline of 3-4 months for this [login to view URL] You may ask what this app is about, well it is about connecting into society once again. Instilling trust and passion through that of the art of lending and receiving. It is an app where you are able to communicate via messaging, video call, emailing etc. Whatever way makes you comfortable, you are able to do it. For instance if you feel the person seems untrustworthy, then you may video call and get a better first impression of how the person may hold themselves. This app is that of basic renting and/or lending. Within this you can view people close by your own location. You may send a ping to nearby people explaining what exactly it is that you need, and how long you need it for or what you even need it for whether it be simple items for a project or skill building. For example, i might need a torque wrench for my wheels as i am about to head out the next morning on a long road trip, I send a ping to people near my location requesting for a torque wrench, with each person in that nearby location depending on whether they have a torque wrench will then reply back explaining their make of wrench how long they have had it for insurance that it is still good. People will also set their own deposit price for renting or if they are generous enough they will just lend it to you. On return the deposit will be fully returned upon inspection of the tool, creating a fully operational honor system within your community. There is security as well preventing those to be taken advantaged or stolen from. If the deposit is not returned, messages are kept within the app to ensure that the negotiation is not skewed by deletion and can be held up in court. Furthermore when the transaction is done both parties can then leave a review on one another stating how the transaction had gone, if the lender or lendee is trustworthy, you will have the capability to leave a five star rating. This goes both ways to ensure that both parties have a chance to speak their peace. When? You may ask when this may be of use. Well, let's say you talked a big fishing game to all your pals and now they’re wanting to go to the lake with you to see what kind of fishing game you actually have. Silly little you doesn't have a fishing rod… do not worry as the community app has your back. With this cool app you can ping your surrounding area to see who is willing to rent out their rod for the day. They may even give you a few lures or even the whole tackle box if you are lucky. It is just too bad no one can lend you the skill… oh but just wait there is more, if in need of lessons on fishing or any other skill you may want to pick up, the community app can help you with that too. Just ping your location and request help with fishing and someone will lend their assistance for a pretty penny… or for free if you are lucky. Why? You may ask why I am making this app. I believe that with covid that our personal navigation has directed us to more of a stay within your bubble and navigate the world without any sort of lending hand. For instance Stephanie Belding, a Canadian actress and singer, had felt “a sense of loss’ ' when the Toronto Public Health had urged people to limit contact with others to within their own household. So with this app I am hoping to restore that social lining and trust back into society. How? You will search what you need, from there whoever has posted that item you wish to rent will then pop up. You will then get the chance to swipe through potential options of what you need. You also get to look at their reasoning for joining the app, and will also be able to view others' reviews of this renter. There will also be a five star rating system that you can view from, so if someone may have a 1 star rating then clearly this person does not have the greatest reputation in the community and therefore will potentially make you less inclined to rent from said person. This kind of person would be someone you may swipe left on, depending on how desperate you are for the item in need, Once you have chosen the item it is now in the hands of the renter to choose if your someone he can trust with his product, making it important to be honest and truthful with others belongings. They are capable of viewing your reviews as a renter and can see whether you have a 1 star as a renter or a 5 star. Who? This app can be directed to any and all people. From little Jimmy to grandpa Pat, whether it is a video game you are wanting to make a few bucks off of, or that jack you have been hoarding in your garage for years, this now gives you the opportunity to tell your wife that you are keeping these things for a real purpose. From there it opens up a whirlwind of opportunities whether you are in need of some money and are willing to rent anything to everyone or if you are just looking to be generous and lend out some of your belongings. It is such a great way to bring socializing back into society.
