In researching registration techniques for my shareware program, one technique is to have a user enter an ID that I send them after they pay, then the program uses http/cgi to compare the user ID with an encrypted list I store on my server. I've tried other "wrapper" registration programs out there and they all have published cracks. This CGI technique I learned from a developer who said they've never been cracked in years. I'm an intermediate skilled VB programmer but I'm not quite sure what would be involved with this project. I need some relatively simple script that can do following: I am using one registered shareware program at my site. It holds (most of) its data in 2 separate txt files. The data is delimated by "|" sign. One file is incoming (unverified) data and another is public (verified) data. I would like to have both datas imported to mysql so they can be there manipulated.
