Job Overview: The VA’s job and responsibilities is to assist the marketing specialist and the digital imaging technician in creating assets and reels needed for marketing campaigns. Has good communication skills and can work under time sensitive conditions. Responsibilities: Graphic Design A good understanding of photoshop/illustrator Able to do photo touch ups, background removal, youtube thumbnails, ETC. Make visual effects on photos if needed (something similar to adding lightsabers to photos, or removing certain individuals in photos if needed) Video editing A good understanding of adobe premiere and after effects Trimming of clips to specific lengths and time based on dialogue Creating reels/highlights for tiktoks and instagram. Adding sound effects, visual effects and close captioning. Adding texts/graphics for videos. Copywriting Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging Drive brand consistency across all company communications Develop and implement brand guidelines Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere Skills Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this role. They regularly need to collaborate with team members to understand the needs of the marketing and editing department. Creativity: Creativity allows them to create visually appealing images and marketing materials, making it very useful to the marketing and editing department. Project management: VA’s are often involved with multiple projects at one time. The ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner is crucial for this position. Qualifications for VA: 1+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, and video production Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Superior organizational and time management skills Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and softwares is a plus
