French Translator

Communicaid is looking for French translators to translate blog articles (600-800 words) from English to French. Articles usually cover the following topics: - Language learning and acquisition (in particular English) - Learning methodologies - Intercultural training - Global working - International communication skills We will pay an initial 20 euros per article. If we are happy with the quality of your work, then we will discuss a longer term deal and more projects. Freelance French Content Translators We are a B2B training company specialising in language, intercultural and communication skills training. This is a telecommute role for someone who possesses outstanding translation skills. Candidates from any country can apply. The role will include: • Article translating: provide a French version of English articles while remaining faithful to the initial document • Managing your own workload and meeting agreed deadlines • Proofreading your own work before submitting Essential skills The freelance job has the following essential requirements: • 100% fluent written and spoken French. • Outstanding level of English • The ability to translate complex texts. • Competency with Microsoft Word • At least 1 year previous experience in translating • Good communication skills, creativity, a good sense of humour is welcome • A team player. • Someone who is able to follow detailed instructions where required and use their own initiative where required. • Someone with high standards and excellent eye for detail • Ability to work remotely from your own home. • Understanding of language training, linguistics, intercultural communication, etc. would be beneficial This is a work from home job, with no travel required. As a freelance content writer, you will simply need your own computer, a reliable internet connection and Microsoft Word.
